About Naomi!
I asked her what she thought was unique about herself and she had an amazing response:
I truly try to blend emotion into my posts. Hooping means a lot to me and I want to convey that to my followers. I try hard to make each post unique be it different music, backgrounds, number of hoops and moves. I try really hard to make my Instagram colorful and inspiring!
What inspired you to start your journey:
For as long as I remember movement was a big part of my life. I was always dancing, pacing, playing sports. My body just loves being active. When I started attending events in my cities local rave scene, I became hooked on the feeling of dancing all night long and at some point, started noticing people playing with hula hoops. I was always mesmerized and captivated, desperately wanting to learn. Eventually a hoop found its way into my hands and from that moment I knew my life had changed. I had found a tool to express everything I felt inside of me, this plastic circle gave me a confidence I had never experienced in my life. All the anxiety I felt on a daily basis would melt away when I was holding my hula hoop. It was truly love at first sight.
A little bit more about Naomi:
There are so many things that make me who I am but a big part of my life is my family. My family has always been very supportive of everything I have done, especially my hula hooping! I love chatting with people and will talk to anyone who will listen. Sometimes I say really awkward things but I just cannot help myself! I live with my cat Cleo Catra and my partner Kyle. They are my favourite things in this world! I am a huge Marvel nerd, especially for Spider-man! Summer is my favourite season, I just love being outside in the sun with a speaker and all my hoops! I love, love, love music! I especially like to sing but I do play a few instruments as well. There are so many things I love in life but cheese is definitely near the top!
What is your favorite music genre to flow to?
Any type of EDM!
Do you flow with any other props? If so what are some of your other favorites?
I have tried other props and from time to time will switch it up but hoops are my main prop. I also play with fans, juggling balls and toro flux.
